Our library has curated a reading list featuring powerful books written by individuals sharing their journeys, insights, and challenges. These stories are a chance to learn, empathize, and celebrate neurodiverse perspectives. 📚✨ 🔗 Explore the reading list here – https://lnkd.in/eeVPsR75 Let’s keep the conversation going and foster a culture of acceptance and understanding. #Neurodiversity #Inclusion #LivedExperience #TorbayHospital #LibraryResources #NHSLibraries

🌟 Equality Strategy: Support for Individuals with Care Responsibilities 🌟 As part of its equality strategy, the University of Hamburg Business School aims to facilitate the balance between career and care tasks. A round table specifically for academic staff provided an opportunity for discussion on this important topic. The equality team 🤝 plans to involve more individuals in its efforts, including staff beyond the academic sector who have caregiving responsibilities, as well as students engaged in educational or caregiving work. 👩🎓 Overall, the goal is to anticipate the challenges faced by individuals in the Business School community and proactively offer solutions. 💪 Together, we can create a supportive environment that values both professional growth and personal responsibilities! Some news 🎉 to share but before that… The balloons in this photo remind me of the many beautiful ways in which people differ. If we agree that they (inanimate objects) look beautiful in their difference, I wonder why it’s so difficult to see the beauty of human difference? The context of this contemplation is precisely why it gives me immense joy to have been matched with schools in Bristol as part of the PINS programme (Partnerships for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools) to promote and develop an inclusive whole school culture through literature. Work is underway to curate interest/ability aligned literature to nurture reading and build neurodiversity inclusion in these schools so staff and children can enjoy: ✅ Exposure to diverse perspectives, cultures and backgrounds with a chance to break stereotypes ✅ A chance to understand emotions and situations which helps build empathy and emotional intelligence ✅ A safe space for dialogue, discussion and critical thinking on challenging topics ✅ Developing a shared culture and identity whilst celebrating differences A key selling point of our work is being able to serve clients literally anywhere in the U.K. So if you are the lead of a Parent Carer Forum, an NHS Transformation Manager or a School Leader who would like us to support your PINS delivery, please reach out DM me or email hello@happiereverychapter.com for more info #inclusion #nhs #neurodiversity #diversity #parentcarerforum
