Extend the Warmth—Second Wave for a Vital Cause Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, or even paused to reflect on the power of community during this holiday season. Your response to our initial post for Bay Cove Human Services and CASPAR Shelters 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐭𝐡—𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 has been inspiring, but the journey isn’t over. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: The cold is here, and for over 45,000 unhoused individuals in Massachusetts, it’s life-threatening. Together, we can supply winter gear—boots, coats, gloves, and hats—to over 600 people in desperate need. At EM Capital, real estate is about 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲. This campaign reminds us to extend that care beyond walls and roofs. 𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐭 $𝟕𝟎𝟎, 𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 $𝟐,𝟓𝟎𝟎. Donate here: https://lnkd.in/e4C6AZhQ Even $10 can mean a pair of gloves for someone battling the elements. If you’ve already donated, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please: 🔁 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 💬 𝐓𝐚𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 📢 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 Every small action adds up. Let’s finish this year making a difference! P.S. Lovelight Solutions is thrilled to team up with Let There Be Light International to provide life changing solar lanterns to 1,000 families. It's amazing how much impact a $15 lantern can provide to a family living without access to electricity. Currently, families in off-grid communities in Uganda spend on average 30% of their income on light! Mostly in the form of kerosene which is unhealthy to breathe. We've been working with this fantastic org over the past 4 years as part of our commitment to donate 1% of our revenues to bring light to those that do not have access to electricity. The org is run by an amazing founder/executive director who takes no salary - maximizing the impact of donations. Your donation will fund a solar lantern for mothers that come to deliver a baby in a community health clinic (Lovelight Solutions is proud to have brought solar power to 6 of them). Most families deliver w/in the home which leads to high infant mortality. Getting mothers to clinics where there is a lit environment saves lives. This program is also amazing for women's empowerment. Typically, everything of value is owned by the male.. now a mom comes home with a solar lantern that is extremely valuable and revolutionary for the family. This is a win-win-win program with cascading benefits. Thanks for considering chipping in to this great project, where your donation will be matched 2-1. Let it Shine! Donate here: https://lnkd.in/gSM-s9rS
Today, we are grateful for the power of light, hope, and community. 🌍💡 Thanks to Lovelight Solutions, your donations will be TRIPLED! Let’s make this season of giving one to remember. Together, we can shine on! 💛 #Thanksgiving #Grateful #GivingTuesday #TripleImpact #SolarForChange #ShineOn #LTBLI #SolarLightsChangeLives

Last night was very humbling. I had the opportunity to return to the place that gave me the tools to restart my life, and I will forever be grateful for that. Since it is Movember, which focuses on Mens Health, I have a story to share. I recently passed the 6yr mark of sobriety, but it felt a bit different this year. The first 5 years of sobriety, I took it very seriously and put all my effort into changing my frame of mind from very negative to positive. After receiving my 5-year medallion last year, things changed. I started taking every aspect of my life for granted because my life on paper looked great. I didn't take my sobriety and spirituality serious, my ego was telling me, "Jeff, you don't need that anymore. You got this." I was isolating myself and didn't reach out to my positive influences, which led to months of depression and recently planning my demise. Normal people would say, "You have a great life, how could you be depressed?" I suffer from depression because I'm not one of the normal people. I've suffered from depression since I was 13 years old, but fortunately, I now have the tools to recover. I share this because many men don't have the tools available. Please, if you're suffering inside, make a call and talk to someone. It may save your life. Take care of yourselves. 9-8-8: Suicide Crisis Helpline #mensmentalhealth #sobriety #Movember #recovery #depression
Last night, it was an honor for Klass Drywall to attend Westover Treatment Centre's Thursday Night Meet & Greet. We were proud to present them with a donation raised through our second annual Golf Tournament, and we’re grateful to see how our community continues to come together for such an important cause. Klass Drywall President, Jeff Pomietlarz, also had the privilege of speaking at the event, where he shared his personal experiences and offered words of hope and encouragement to those in attendance. It was a truly inspiring evening, and we’re thankful to be part of a network that supports healing and growth. #GivingBack #CommunitySupport #KlassDrywallinc #WestoverTreatmentCentre #HopeInAction #construction

"Thank you for your giving hearts. We sincerely appreciate VPO’s support and continued work with our team." "I love that VPO does this each year." "VPO is a great partner. They really give back." "Many thanks to VPO for such a thoughtful expression of appreciation. Add this to the extensive list of reasons we value our relationship with VPO." What are our customers talking about? Every year, in a program we call #ThankfulGiving, we celebrate Thanksgiving in the United States by expressing the gratitude we feel for our customer relationships. https://hubs.ly/Q02TR7GF0 We want you to know that our customers matter to us. Because we care about you, we also care about what you care about! So we make donations to nonprofits that our customers nominate--supporting our community while strengthening the unique relationship we have with each client and user. Have an organization in mind? Speak with your team and then tell us about it! #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #CustomerAppreciation #ValuesAndValue #CustomerRelationships #CustomerPartnerships #ValuedCustomers #CustomerSuccess #CharitableGiving #WBE #ConstructionProjectManagement

On today's episode of the Professor Kev Show I am joined by Ryan Nguyen the Founder of Unity Provisions. Founded Unity Provisions in May 2024, a 501(c)(3) student-led non-profit addressing food insecurity by setting up donation centers in high schools and community centers worldwide. Our mission guide students to create their own food collection programs and advocate within their communities. I also discussed Relief Route, our GPS program that enhanced accessibility to local food banks and distribution centers, making a tangible difference in underserved areas. Globally, we created a network of schools and community centers to host our program like in Torrance California and Boston, Massachusetts, making sure resources reached those in need.#professorkev, #foodinsecurity, #fighthunger, #studentrunbusiness, #studententrepreneur #studentrunnonprofit

A big part of Pacific First Wealth Management is being finalized this week: We’re finishing up selecting the first nonprofit that we’ll be donating a percentage of revenue to each quarter. And I couldn’t be more excited about helping this organization and all the great work they do in the community. Complete details next week, and this is only the first of many ways we’ll be giving back to local communities. Because that’s the “why” behind everything we do at Pacific First Wealth Management.
