Prioritize Your Own Self-Care and Well-being It’s easy to deprioritize self-care when work is demanding, but small steps add up and can make a big difference: Rest and nutrition: Ensure you’re getting adequate sleep and eating balanced meals. These basics lay the foundation for sustained energy. Engage in activities you enjoy: Make time for hobbies or activities that bring you joy, whether it’s exercise, reading, or spending time with loved ones. Seek support: Don’t hesitate to reach out to mentors or professional coaches who can help you process challenges. Their guidance can provide valuable insights. Self-care isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity for managing leadership stress. By prioritizing your well-being, you can maintain the resilience needed to support your team effectively. #SelfCare #LeaderWellbeing #LeadershipHealth #AvoidBurnout #SustainableLeadership

Feeling stressed as a CEO? You're not alone. The pressure and scrutiny can be overwhelming, affecting your decisions, relationships, and even your health. But here's a tip from someone who's been there: give yourself the gift of time. Take a break on December 23rd, and step away completely on the 24th, 25th, and 26th. Wrap up with a half-day on the 27th. Trust me, your well-being—and your team—will thank you. Here's what’s helped me cope: Stay Grounded: Anchor yourself in your purpose and values. Manage Time: Prioritize tasks effectively and delegate. Take Breaks: Enjoy family, hobbies, and relaxation. Recognize Triggers: Identify what stresses you out and minimize it. Seek Support: Lean on mentors and peers for guidance. Live Healthily: Eat well, rest, and stay active. Practice Mindfulness: Use meditation and deep breathing. These strategies have transformed my approach to stress. What works for you? Share your tips! For more, follow @ https://lnkd.in/gnrwyZtR

😰 When you are feeling STRESSED, what habit goes out the window first? It's most likely one of these four... - Sleep - Exercise - Nutrition - Self-care (Other...?) You might have heard these excuses "I don't have time to exercise" or "Just 2 more episodes of Netflix, I’ll catch up on sleep this weekend". 🙈 Pre burnout I thought I was invincible... and SLEEP was the one habit I neglected. That was a big mistake and something I would never ignore today❗️ As a high-achieving leader, you are strong and resilient, no doubt. However, if you are going after your goals and want to hit them and not neglect your health or boundaries in the process... You need to end the excuses. 🎯 If you are running at 68%, how do you expect to hit 100% on your set goal❓ Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed right now? Well, this is where healthy habits can help you cope during a stressful period. By shifting your focus inward on what you can control... you can make choices that elevate your mind-body each day. 🥇 It's time to put yourself first and embrace SUSTAINABLE results! You only get one body, one life. ........ - What habit goes out the window first for you? 👇 …….. Ps. High-Performing Habits are part of my 1:1 coaching program. ☑️ Creating this foundation helps you move the needle toward your goals with more energy, confidence & clarity. A Dose of #lifestylemedicine Autumn is a beautiful season for reflecting on what we can relinquish in order to promote optimal well-being 🧡♥️💜 When we are able to let go of resentment, we can focus on the present moment instead of the pain suffered in the unchangeable past. Worrying about the uncertainty of the unpredictable future puts our focus on what is beyond our control instead of on our ability to be change agents who have the capacity to create sustainable healthy behaviors. Holding onto our negative emotions inhibits our ability to enjoy life and can damage our relationships. If we choose to spend our time ruminating about the past, we lose the opportunity to engage with our positive emotions that can bring us more joy in the moment. Releasing our negative emotions can also free us from the burden of carrying the emotional baggage that continuously weighs us down. It is so difficult to change ourselves and yet we sometimes believe that we can change others to conform to our standards or meet our needs. Letting go of these unrealistic expectations will create the space to work on ourselves so that we are constantly growing and learning from our experiences. What could you relinquish to create a happier and healthier life? 🧡❤️💜💚 #coaching #leadership #wellness #wellbeing #behaviorchange #workplacewellness #workplacewellbeing #humanresources #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #positivepsychology #corporatewellbeing #corporatewellness

Let’s stop glamorizing overworking. Lack of sleep, a poor diet, skipping exercise, and missing out on quality time with friends and family should never be celebrated. Burnout is not a badge of honor—it’s a sign we need to reassess our priorities. It’s time to shift the narrative and prioritize well-being over hustle culture. #MentalHealthMatters #WorkLifeBalance #SelfCare #BurnoutPrevention #Leadership #CareerGrowth

🌙 A Warm Welcome to Our 16th Cohort of the Certified Resilience Coach Program! 🌙 I am genuinely excited to welcome our incredible participants from around the world! I’m always amazed by the diversity of perspectives we bring to the table, yet, no matter how far apart we are, our shared human experiences connect us deeply. Since our first LIVE SESSION, we've been diving into the power of sleep as a foundational pillar of resilience. For many, it’s a surprise to learn that resilience isn’t just mental or emotional—it’s deeply physical. But it makes sense, right? When we are physically run down, it is so much harder to face life's challenges with calm and grace. As we explored the importance of deep, restorative sleep, one key insight has stood out: limiting screen time before bed can make a world of difference. In my book "A New Way to Be", I shared how I developed insomnia after a concussion. The insomnia felt 100% more debilitating than the head pain itself. One thing that truly helped—and is backed by research—is limiting blue light exposure at night. Here’s a little excerpt from my book: “Limit your use of screens and artificial light at night—turn off electronics at least one hour before bedtime and keep them out of the bedroom. These devices suppress the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone, and can throw off your natural sleep rhythms.” I get it—it's easy to fall into the trap of late-night scrolling! But I’d love for you to try something with us. Tonight, turn off your screens at least an hour before bed and see how your body responds. 🔌💤 Let’s reconnect with our bodies and prioritize our well-being, together. I can’t wait to hear how this simple practice goes for you—drop your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!👇💬 #CRCP16 #SleepMatters #Resilience #WellnessJourney #SleepStrategy #ResilienceCoaching #ProfessionalDevelopment #Leadership #ANewWayToBe
