This week in Australia is Volunteering Australia (VA)'s National Volunteer Week, where the incredible efforts of volunteers across our nation are celebrated and reflected on. We at Dongara Marine are giving a special shoutout to the dedicated teams at marine rescue and volunteer coastguard organisations around the country, and in particular those within Western Australia's Marine Rescue, many of whom we are proud to have as clients for new vessels and refits. Of course, building and refitting boats is a business for us but we also take pride in being able to contribute to improving the assets and working conditions for the volunteers up and down our coastline who brave the elements to respond when things go wrong at sea. Their commitment and passion helps ensure that boaters of all types can enjoy our waters with added peace of mind.
