Yandal Resources Ltd (ASX:YRL) has demonstrated the continuity of mineralisation along strike at the Siona discovery, part of the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee (IWB) Gold Project in Western Australia. The company’s infill reverse circulation (RC) drilling hit #gold over a 300-metre strike, generating results including 17 metres at 4.9 g/t gold from 85 metres, including 1 metre at 61.9 g/t and 6 metres at 12.8 g/t. YRL observed visible gold within the RC chips in several holes, indicating potential for zones of high-grade mineralisation within the system. “Siona infill RC drilling continues to demonstrate mineralisation continuity along strike and has extended mineralisation beyond the extent of discovery holes 24IWBRC0039 and 24IWBRC0044,” Yandal Resources managing director Chris Oorschot said. Results from the first four drillholes as part of the U.S. Department of Defense-funded extension drilling at our Idaho Cobalt Operations has confirmed significant resource growth potential at the RAM deposit. The drilling program, which is part of the Defense Production Act Title III funding, has identified strong cobalt-copper-gold mineralisation at depths outside the existing 2023 MRE margins. Four extensional drill holes intersected the main mineralised horizon, with results including 1.8m at 1.10% cobalt, 1.18% copper, and 0.69 g/t gold in Hole JU24-093. These findings, complemented by additional hangingwall intercepts, suggest substantial resource extension potential. Prior to this drilling, ICO was already the largest and highest grade confirmed cobalt orebody in the U.S. The deepest intercept to date indicates strong upside potential of further resource extension at depth, which Jervois anticipates will be tested with future drilling. Recent diamond drill results at the Red Mountain #Copper-#Gold Project (100% owned by Xanadu Mines Ltd), particularly at Target 33 were highly encouraging, and warrant near term follow-up #drilling. #Exploration drilling at Target 33 centred upon extending the gold surface expression from previous drilling and trenching. Multiple broad zones of gold mineralisation were successfully intersected. This mineralisation is associated with the main east-west trending intrusive and some narrow higher-grade associated with cross cutting epithermal mineralisation. Scorpio Gold Corporation (TSXV: SGN) (OTCQB: SRCRF) (FSE: RY9) announced positive results from its 2024 drilling campaign at the Manhattan District, #Nevada, #USA. Highlights: • 9.4 metres of 6.08 grams per tonne #gold; including 3.4 metres of 15.62 grams per tonne gold, and 1.0 metre of 63.70 grams per tonne gold. • 1.5 metres of 5.50 grams per tonne gold, and 2.2 metres of 5.33 grams per tonne gold. The company says the results confirm high-grade mineralisation along the Reliance Fault, with the potential to link the Goldwedge Underground and Echo Bay Pits over a 1.8 km strike length. Pending assays from Phase 1 and 2 drilling are expected to support this continuity further, as they progress toward its maiden mineral resource estimate for the Manhattan District. Assay results have been received from drill hole 23PCCD0002 at the Cumbre Coya target within Firetail Resources’ Picha #Copper Project and intersected the same mineralised structure as the first drill hole (23PCCD0001). These results confirm the mineralised structure extends over 170m in strike length and is open in all directions. In-fill results continue to support the interpretation of a very continuous, steeply west-dipping, zone of high-grade gold mineralisation in the southern part of the deposit.
