UPDATE: 1000 Books Campaign We're so excited overjoyed! A generous donor from our #FriendsOfNyenyedzi community contributed 43 textbooks to our 1000 Books Campaign! Thank you to our anonymous benefactor who reached out! Your kindness will impact numerous young minds. The donated textbooks will be shared among a few less privileged schools in October, including Open Tribe Foundation in Epworth. For those who don't know, Scott Pirrello and his team at the San Diego County District Attorney's Office run the Elder Justice Task Force (EJTF) dedicated to identifying, investigating, and disrupting scam networks that target older adults locally in San Diego. Senior Tech Connect. This work is extremely important, especially given the influx of new tactics and cyber scams - so much so that we stream the '60 Minutes' episode featuring the EJTF San Diego whenever we present on Top Senior Scams. Senior Tech Connect is looking forward to collaborating with Scott's team to provide #Cybersecurity workshops and other resources to help older adults (especially those vulnerable to cyber crime) throughout #SanDiego County over the next few months.
