GA4 is defenetly not a finished product 😢 Another update has been pushed yesterday and now "conversion events" are replaced by "key events" to match Google Ads definition. Don't get me wrong, matching data and terminology between tools is a really good thing, but why this hasn't been done for the release of GA4? Adding features to a tool is great, replacing or renaming features sucks... Now we're going to have to explain to our non-expert GA4 clients who were starting to get used to the interface that the terminology is changing and there won't be any "conversions" on the GA4 side... As GA4 prepares to change "Conversions" to "Key Events," it's important to note that this is just a name change for conversions. While Google Ads will still refer to them as "Conversions," remember they are tracked in GA4 as "Key Events." #youtechagency #digitalmarketing #marketingtips

🚦Are you using GA4 or have you been putting off the set-up this whole time? In the last couple of months, we have taken on several clients who haven't updated their "new Google Analytics" settings for tracking site traffic, conversions, and other events in GA4. 🤷♀️ No shame if you haven't been able to get to it; we are all busy, but measuring your organisation's online visibility and its site's performance is important - otherwise, how do you know it's working for the money you had invested in getting the website in the first place? 🤨 #GA4 #GoogleAnalytics

GA4 UPDATES! 😀 GA4 announced that it is unifying the definition of conversions to create a simpler and more intuitive experience when measuring and reporting conversions across Google Ads and Analytics. 📈 Here are the three metrics related to key events changed: - "Conversions" becomes "Key Events" - "Session Conversion Rate" becomes "Session Key Event Rate" - "Users Conversion Rate" becomes "User Key Event Rate" Your Dashthis data remains the same, with only the metric names changing to reflect GA4's new terminology. 🙂

GA4: Finding the Hidden Conversion Differences 📈 #GA4 has a hidden report that can help you understand why the number of conversions you see in #GoogleAnalytics is different from the number you see in #GoogleAds. How to find it 👇 1. Go to your GA4 property. 2. Add /advertising/key-event-differences to the end of the url It might not work for all properties though. Thanks to Brais Calvo Vázquez for pointing it out. Hope it helps! ✌

Google is making significant changes to GA4 by renaming 'Conversions' to 'Key Events'. This critical update aims to streamline measurement across Google Ads and GA4, eliminating confusion and enhancing the clarity of campaign performances. Important points to note: 💡 'Key Events' are those you deem crucial, tracked in GA4 but not for Google Ads bidding or reporting. 💡 Conversions based on GA4's key events improve integration between Google Ads and Analytics reporting. 💡 And don't worry about your current setup – it's all compatible, with key events enhancing what legacy conversions started. With the GA4 community reacting in various ways to these changes, I'm keen to hear your views. Please share what you feel about these changes. 🔄 Share this with your peers & follow MeasureMinds Group for all updates in digital marketing & analytics! #ga4 #googleanalytics4 #webanalytics #digitalmarketing

GA4 did it again!! The recent changes in how conversions are handled. Here's what you need to know: 🔹 Conversion Renaming: Going forward, conversions in GA4 will be referred to as "Key Events". This shift aims to align the terminology between Google Ads and Google Analytics, ensuring consistency in reporting metrics. 🔹 Understanding Key Events: "Key Events" in GA4 encompass essential user interactions such as form submissions or purchases. These events will now be marked similarly to previous conversions, ensuring seamless tracking across platforms. 🔹 Google Ads Integration: With this update, events marked as "Key Events" in GA4 will be seamlessly integrated into the "Conversion Performance" section. This integration ensures data consistency between GA4 and Google Ads, facilitating better cross-platform analysis. 🔹 Educational Focus: As we navigate through this transition, it's crucial to educate ourselves and our stakeholders about the implications of this change. This includes understanding how "Key Events" differ from traditional conversions and their impact on reporting. For more details and insights, Julius Fedorovicius did a comprehensive video addressing these changes and common questions. Find the link to the video in the comments. Let's embrace these updates and enhance our analytics capabilities together! 💼💡 #GoogleAnalytics #GA4 #ConversionChanges #DataAnalytics
