Very insightful meeting with the UK Weighing Federation board and members at the British Motor Museum last week. Plenty of discussions to be had regarding the future of the weighing industry and how the UKWF is bringing in new approaches to produce great weighing engineers, especially with their new Apprenticeship Metrology Diploma Training Course. This allows any member of the UKWF the opportunity to enrol their apprentices on a course to give them the experience, knowledge and tools to become great weighing engineers in the future; something that the industry is severely lacking. This is just another one of the reasons why the UK Weighing Federation and its members are trusted across many industries. You may use supplier markings like Avetta or Constructionline to determine who you approve for your on-site work and when it comes to weighing, suppliers who hold the UKWF marking are no different. When choosing your weighing machine supplier, make sure they are a member of the UK Weighing Federation and you will be provided with the UK's best service possible.

Introducing, Modern Classic Cars Foundation - restoring, maintaining, and enhancing classic cars whilst training the next generation. Over the next month Modern Classic Cars will be transitioning into the Modern Classic Cars Foundation. MCCF, a not-for-profit organisation, will strive to train people with the skills required across various trades to ensure the future of the Veteran, Classic, Hot Rod, and Muscle Car industries. We will continue to offer the existing services of Modern Classic Cars whilst also offering fee free apprenticeships to young people with a passion for specialist cars.
