There is a military term called scorched earth that is utilized in some circumstances where the loss of territory or people is significant and unavoidable. The asset investigator utilizes it to compare the damage caused by a corrupt employee to that of an honest employee. For example, if API speaks, honest employees will take 10% damage, but remaining silent will result in 80% damage. For example, a customer was carrying an item in his bag. He took it out and held it in his hand, comparing it to another on the shelf. He didn't see any difference. So he returned it to the shelf and placed his item in his bag. He was suspected of shoplifting, even though he did not steal. He was brought to court and imprisoned for more than 30 days. This customer has the right to bring a lawsuit against the warehouse, in which the warehouse might lose $5 million to $10 million. The corrupt group has a video that demonstrates the agent's innocence because the entire operation was staged and carried out via them and they planning to announce it. As a result, when you apply this strategy, you will limit the activities of corrupt criminals while saving your warehouse and decent employees from a major problem, even if they sustain little harm.
