10% personal branding campaigns are failing, and 90% are successful. Why? If you are a personal branding strategist, here are the 5 reasons - They don't want to experiment with different content; only posting educational content will not grow your personal branding. - They don't want to share their personal experiences; not adding personal touches loses authority. - They are not interested in spending time on content discussions. At least 30 minutes to 1 hour a week. - They want quick results. Some personal brands grow in 3 months, while others take 6 months and more. - They are not sharing the information, and while the freelancer can't read the client's mind, they need to provide proper resources. What else would you add to the list? P.S. I’m open to 4 founders, DM ‘Branding’ and let’s talk about how we can grow your profile and generate leads. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Follow Anicita Mary A for more #linkedin #personalbranding #leadgeneration #freelancing

Marketing isn’t what you think. If you believe marketing is all about: → Eye-catching ads → Fancy events → Perfectly designed graphics → Polished copy that “wows” … you’ve been misled. Here’s the truth: Marketing isn’t about impressing people. It’s about connecting with them. What real marketing is: → Understanding what your audience truly needs. → Creating value that speaks to their specific pain points. → Building trust so they know, like, and believe in you. → Engaging in real conversations—not flashy pitches. Marketing that works doesn’t start with “look at us.” It starts with “How can we help you?” So, the question is: Are you focused on impressing or connecting? #linkedin #marketing #socialmediamanager

Don't be afraid to show off your work! Use case studies and client testimonials to highlight your skills and results. 3. Network Actively: But not in the 🤝 way. Recently, I had a conversation with a potential client about managing their Instagram and LinkedIn. Quoted them 22k/month for social media management, and they came back saying it’s “too expensive” and wanted to pay on a project basis. I asked them,"What do you mean by that?" Turns out they’re used to paying an editor just ₹200 for reels and ₹80-150 for graphic design. I was honestly shocked. We’re about to step into 2025, and people are still okay with working on these budgets? To those working for these rates—how much are you earning monthly? Is it even sustainable? I get it, we all have to start somewhere, but this seriously hurts the industry. It sets a precedent where businesses don’t value the real work behind social media, design, and marketing. They see it as a quick, cheap fix rather than a professional service. If you’re undercutting your worth, I’d really encourage you to rethink it. You deserve more, and the industry deserves better. #SocialMediaMarketing #GraphicDesign #VideoEditing #MarketingStrategy

I've been digging an enormous hole in my garden for days now. It's made me think about what we pay professionals for, and what we get our hands dirty doing ourselves. Sure, you could dig the hole yourself. Just like you could get your marketing manager to create branded social posts on Canva. It's cheaper... But for the money you gain, are you considering what you lose? The professional hole-digger would: - Take the job off your plate and let you do what you're best at - Have years of experience doing the same thing - Have professional tools to be more efficient - Have ideas you hadn't considered - Have knowledge you don't - Be much faster The same goes for building out social posts yourself, when you could be using a creative agency (like Dawn) to do it for you, on a regular basis. Someone tell me why I started digging this thing myself? 😅

The ONLY marketing tool that cannot be picked-up at a course. In the photo is one of the best compliments I have ever received. Why? First, because it comes from a client with very clear ideas, those who are usually harder to please on the first attempt. Second, because the use of plural refers to the variety of tones and lines of focus I gave to one same message on a somewhat controversial newsletter. Even the “niche-est” audience has a wide diversity of tastes, tones, interests, and personalities. I somewhat always felt being sensitive and empathetic would work against me, but it seems to be my most important asset in marketing. Chameleonic adaptation must be an essential tool for content creators and strategists of all kinds. Working in marketing is somewhat about developing "multiple personalities." Surface level won't cut it if you want to maintain long-lasting relationships. This is why we are currently witnessing the downfall of giants in countless industries. Knowing people deeply, understanding them, and adapting to their needs is an advantage that smaller businesses have over large corporations. The fall of big companies and the failure of many marketing strategies do not solely stem from the execution of this or that strategy, but from truly understanding whom we are talking to. Behind every penny, there is a person or a team. Speak their language, and they will count on you. Or at the very least, they will say you are "the boss of copy." #marketing #freelance #notalinkedinfluencer
