It is designed to enable efficient and scalable communication between a system-on-chip (SoC) and peripheral devices, particularly for power management purposes. SPMI is commonly used in mobile and embedded systems to manage power efficiently and reduce power consumption. I have found the OAP document useful as a SENDCO tool. It can be a helpful reference point for teachers when considering provision for children. I think there is more potential, particularly in supporting parents trying to navigate the SEND systems. Like many things, it's down to interpretation and motive. It can be used for good, or not!
