Can't wait to be at this amazing meeting with some real pioneers of "doing things differently" - including this workshop by fellow Alef Trust alumni Mary-Rita McGuire. Organized by Jessica Bockler, PhD and Les Lancaster and many others. While there are many out there who are doing their best to "re imagine" the future of work...this group of individuals are diving SUPER DEEP into mind, body and soul to help find possibilities to navigate our polycrisis. Nothing like a good dark night of the soul to bring a transpersonal approach to your life! It's not everyone's cup of tea so please do look away if you are more materialistically minded! The transpersonal approach allows us to 1) widen the aperture of our attentional lens (beyond peripheral vision into open awareness and open monitoring - an often messy landscape to navigate - but with training - a treasure-trove of insights) 2) really develop our individual imagination (into the default mode network and BEYOND!) 3) have the courage to play in the collective mindspace (which will likely be the best response to the dilemmas we have created through competitive, individualistic mindsets) 4) include the BODY and all that wonderful data that we mostly ignore in our exploration of potential solutions and 5) REALLY know the power of play, ritual and surrender in the service of opening to solutions that we would just not encounter by sitting down for a "brainstorm" or "thoughtshower". As an extra benefit - the research shows that those who have a transpersonal orientation to their lives (of any "flavour") live longer, happier, more fulfilled lives, have greater resilience in the face of challenges, and also recover more quickly and easily from life's setbacks. 📺 Exciting News: EcoDaLLi and its approach to Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in Dunav Televizija! Are you curious about nature-based solutions, passionate about protecting our oceans and waters and able to understand Serbian? Then this video is a must-watch! 🌿 💡 Our project partners, Prof. Dr. Miroslav Veskovic and Prof. Dr. Milan Martinov from Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad have been invited to "Dunav Televizija", a regional TV channel in Serbia. They not only introduce our project but also explain the broader framework of the EU Mission Ocean & Waters! 📚 Our partners are further elaborating on the work being done within EcoDaLLi on NBS. EcoDaLLi's methodology for the assessment of NBS relevant to the Mission, as an example, simplifies NBS development, making it adaptable for various topics and scales, while reducing unnecessary costs. We've incorporated precise terms and meanings based on EC publications.
