Accountability is only possible when Gold Star families unite to demand leadership looks in the right direction (NTM-A, CSTC-A, and OSDP-A), asks the relevant questions, and is given honorary oversight authority to ensure the irrefutable mistakes that resulted in their loved ones sacrifice are acknowledged and then never repeated. The 26 August 2021 HKIA attack (suicide bombing) was preventable as were thousands of prior IED attacks since 2006 when DoD unanimously confirmed the underlying threat responsible for the majority of US military casualties, and validated solutions to erradicate threat! How many US servicemembers must sacrifice their lives before they are trained and equipped to “proactively” prevent the creation of the most enduring and imminent threat they are certain to encounter? Waiting to counter IEDs after (if) they are detected is a failed policy because it gives the enemy the edge, especially when they are packaged with a suicide bomber! Watch video, vote, and demand more and better for our brave men and women in uniform! Gold Star families have earned the right to demand results and respect!
