Technology development can continue to improve fleet efficiency and allow auto enthusiasts to keep our V8’s and motorsports.
All of the auto companies have already invested a lot of money into EV’s. Cutting the mandate would give a huge unfair advantage to companies that didnt invest as much, like some foreign car makers. Invest in the charging network and it’s infrastructure, make EV’s and gasoline equally affordable and accessible, and let the consumer market make it’s own decisions.
As someone whose business is betting on more people embracing electrification, I completely support and agree with SEMA on this. Consumers and businesses will embrace the technology or combination of technology that's right for them. It's supposed to be a country of free choice.
I support this.
