I came across an article about how Chinese culture affects sales . Compared to people in the US, UK and EU… Chinese people communicate in a more implicit way, think in a more holistic way and look at things through a wider lens which in turn affects how information is communicated. Cold sales e-mails written by Chinese suppliers commonly include: - A big introduction - Company history and location - Certificates and achievements - Product lists and features - Hopes and wishes for future collaboration and because of the differences in culture, a lot of this information is seen as irrelevant to overseas prospects. (which means your e-mails get deleted). So, think about how your prospects receive your message, adapt your communication style and keep sales e-mails short and relevant by: - Being specific about the problem you’re solving - Outlining how you solve this problem - Including examples of how you’ve helped customers - Writing a maximum of 125 words Do this and you'll generate more interest and increase your email response rates. #EmailExpression #Culturaldifferences

Your sales reps speak the wrong language in 85-90% of their sales meetings. But you can fix it. Natural connections only happen in 10-15% of your sales reps' interactions.
