EEN2EIC is a European project that aims to support women-led companies and companies from widenning countries to apply to the EIC Accelerator and #SealofExcellence holders (SoEs) in their search for alternative funds. It's all about collaboration and support! ✨ EuroQuity's Key Role EuroQuity plays a coordination role, leading activities that support SoEs and coordinating EENs members (Enterprise Europe Network members). Here's how: 1️⃣ 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗘𝘀: EuroQuity takes the lead in activities that assist SoEs in their search for public or private funding. The next #EurekaEurostars call closes on 12th September 2024. For those unfamiliar with Eurostars, the scheme is similar to the #InnovateUK #SmartGrants programme in that it supports SME market-oriented #ResearchAndDevelopment. However, unlike Smart, the Eurostars scheme has a very strong average success rate per call. Also, with a focus on more mature research TRLs (5-7), Eurostars offers an excellent opportunity as a follow-on grant, perhaps after an Innovate UK grant has been completed. This might be especially useful if you already have connections in one of the listed Eurostar member states. UK SMEs can claim up to €360,000 funding, at 60% grant support. Eurostars is open to all technology areas and market fields. Although smaller in terms of project size (the average Eurostars project is between €800,000 and €1,500,000, the scheme also offers an excellent alternative to the more competitive EIC Accelerator.
