📢📑🚀 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 Our study “Acting beyond concepts: a comparative study of entrepreneurial actions between novice and experienced entrepreneurs in early-stage venture creation," has just been published in the Journal of Small Business & Entrepreneurship (SJR: Q1; CiteScore: 11.9). We compare the actions of novice and experienced entrepreneurs during the critical early stages of venture creation. By analyzing data from 112 in-depth interviews with founders, we identified three key dimensions of entrepreneurial activities—Entrepreneurial Alignment, Resource Enhancement, and Value Generation. The findings provide a clearer understanding of how experience shapes entrepreneurial practices, offering valuable takeaways for both researchers and practitioners. 🚀 Exploring the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Strategy: A Model for Iran? 🌍 I recently delved into one of the seminal works on entrepreneurial ecosystems, The Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Strategy as a New Paradigm for Economic Policy: Principles for Cultivating Entrepreneurship by Daniel Isenberg (2011). This article offers profound insights into how entrepreneurship can be fostered as a core driver of economic growth, particularly in a global context. As someone deeply interested in the intersection of urban development and entrepreneurship, Isenberg's model raises several intriguing questions, especially when considering its applicability to diverse contexts like Iran: Is Isenberg’s Model Applicable in Iran? Can the principles outlined by Isenberg, which are largely derived from successful entrepreneurial ecosystems in developed countries, be effectively implemented in a country like Iran? What adjustments would be necessary to account for the unique social, economic, and political dynamics here? Do We Need an Alternative Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Model for Developing Countries? Should developing countries like Iran explore alternative models tailored to their specific needs and constraints? How might these models differ in terms of resource allocation, policy interventions, and the role of local communities? The Role of People in Entrepreneurial Ecosystems: What role do the citizens of a country like Iran play in cultivating and sustaining a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem? How can we empower individuals at the grassroots level to contribute to this ecosystem? Should Every City Have Its Own Entrepreneurial Ecosystem? Is it feasible or even necessary for every city to develop its own entrepreneurial ecosystem?
