What is more important in a Sales role? Revenue achieved / targets met OR Time spent travelling? I see so many companies fixing a travel percentage in their requirements but if targets are being met, is travelling an extra day a week that vital? For example - If the sales target is 10m per year with 70% travel, would you be annoyed if the candidate achieves 10m (or more) with only 50% travel? Curious to hear everyone's thoughts on this as I am frequently seeing and hearing this is a "vital" requirement.

Underrated activities in sales: 1️⃣ Sending an email when you get off a call where the prospect says "send me an email" Might not lead to anything, but doing what you say you're going to do is a win 2️⃣ Working in an office There's something unquantifiable about waking up in the morning and heading into an office. Changes the mood of the day by a long shot. 3️⃣ Get a dialing buddy Shoutout to Ben Jackson for ripping dials with me in the Samsara Mexico City office last week. Productivity was unmatched, the energy was off the chain, and it's just awesome to bounce different cold-calling/emailing ideas off another person who's good on the phones ☎ 4️⃣ Standing up while dialing Loosens me up and I feel 10x more relaxed when i'm standing up whilst making calls rather than sitting down, hunched over at my desk. Throw some more underrated tips in the comments, I'm sure Will Falkenborg 🌭probably has a few I didn't mention
