A sales team in Columbia beat my sales team in the states! I am training a call center in Colombia with over 120 sales reps/telemarketers and their numbers outperformed numbers in the states with their accent and the learning curve about real estate. The difference was: 1. Every single person on the floor has high effort daily, dials, talk time, etc. 2. Every single person follows the script and tries their hardest regardless of the situation. 3. Every single person was so humble for the opportunity and treats everyday and every client with the utmost respect and highest effort. Why in the states do we have a wide variance when it comes to effort, professionalism, and care? People in other countries don't get the same opportunities we are blessed to have in the states to make a living and make a name for ourselves. I think it's because we are accustomed to this life style and endless opportunities we get in the US, sometimes we get spoiled and think we can choose when to try and when to work hard. I had the privilege of going to Tijuana, Mexico 🇲🇽 for a quick trip with my church. And, of course, you get culture shocked by it even if it’s 7 hours away from you. SALES is SALES They sell food, toys, accessories, drinks, custom clothing, shoes, belts, and chargers. The hustle, grit, determination, and focus make a SaaS SDR look like child’s play! You have a quota, walking all day , sun ☀️ in your face, 10-second pitch max! Being in sales is about supply and demand. I bought a jersey, food, and snacks! And I was happy! I was studying the salesman because we can all learn from everyone. Be a student of the game. Sales is universal!
