✨ The UNLOOC Chips JU Project (Unlocking the data content of Organ-on-Chips), launched earlier this year, is a three-year initiative focused on creating Organ-on-Chips (OOC) technologies to reduce animal testing and bridge the gender gap in drug development. 👉🏼 Read more about the project on our website: https://lnkd.in/dZpjEm-F ✨Funded by the Chips Joint Undertaking and national agencies, the project uses human cells to enhance personalized medicine and tackle gender disparities inherent in clinical research. Spinverse’s health domain experts initially supported UNLOOC with project planning, consortium building and project proposal writing in this competitive KDT funding call (currently known as Chips JU). The project preparation work from Spinverse was led by Senior Project Manager Juho Vuononvirta. Spinverse is now continuing to support the consortium with daily administration and communication services, driven by Project Manager Malin Tverin, PhD. ✨The UNLOOC project brings together 51 entities from 10 countries across Europe and is coordinated by microfluidic ChipShop GmbH. #unlooc #spinverse #organonchip #innovationconsulting #eufunding

🌍 Imagine a world without animal testing in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Could it really be possible? One of the strongest memories I have from last year's EU funding applications, has been submitting UNLOOC during the Project Outline phase. It is, now, wonderful seeing this highly collaborative consortium of 51 partners from 10 countries, implementing Organ-On-Chip technologies to reduce animal testing, bridge the gender gap in pharmaceutical research and enhance the advancement of personalized therapeutics. UNLOOC aims to transform drug testing by using human cell models that replicate human organ functions on a miniature scale. This innovative approach is crucial because it offers a more precise, human-relevant method for understanding disease mechanisms and drug efficacy. With Organ-On-Chip, we can observe how treatments affect real human cells, providing accurate insights that can lead to more effective, safer drugs and therapies. #InnovationConsulting #EUFunding #Partnerships #HealthcareInnovation

Making organ transplants more accessible. In a nutshell - that's the goal. Artificial blood made with nanoparticles and the machine which simulates the body keeping organ alive for hours, weeks, months. That would be awesome! This (more less) is what NanoGroup S.A. with Prof. Tomasz Ciach started many years ago. Continuing painstaking research making it bigger-than-life mission Wojciech Frąckowiak is leading the team of young and ambitious researchers to make this vision true. A4BEE joined the quest helping with moving invention towards innovation. From R&D towards medical product. From research towards global commercial availability. We are just starting, but the journey is already rewarding. This week together with Julia Zakrzewska, Maciej Gaik we were presenting the #nanOX system commercialization journey during internanopoland conference. Spreading the word about polish science and engineering ingenuity. Keep your fingers crossed as we are on a mission to transform transplantology. #meaningfulInnovation #invetion #innovation
