My new launch Foodyko 😍 : Foodyko is website dedicated to empowering farmers and celebrating their value-added products. Before starting Nexpression, my first business venture was Foodyko. Initially launched as a live food restaurant, Foodyko faced challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced us to cease operations. During this period, we identified a critical issue: many agricultural and farm products were not reaching the market effectively. This insight marked the beginning of Foodyko's evolution into an innovative platform dedicated to empowering farmers and celebrating their value-added products. It was from this realization that the transformative journey of Foodyko truly began. Inspired by a desire to support local farmers and manufactures while promoting healthy, sustainable eating, we pivoted our focus. Transitioning from a mere restaurant, we evolved into a platform dedicated to connecting consumers with the finest produce and goods from our region.Through Foodyko, we aim to bridge the gap between farmers products and consumers, championing transparency, quality. Today, May 8th, was a day filled with anticipation and excitement as we unveiled our latest innovations and updates at our In-House Innovation event, Twenty Twenty Forward At Delta, innovation is in our DNA. We’re constantly exploring new horizons and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Our presence now spans across 5 continents, in 40 countries, with over 60 brands, all aimed at delivering exceptional experiences to our customers worldwide. We proudly introduced Delta House, a new milestone in our brand’s journey. Delta House is not just a mother brand; it’s a symbol of our growth and commitment to innovation - it represents our evolution, made possible by the support and partnership of our community. It will serve as a unifying force, bringing together our diverse portfolio of coffee & non-coffee brands under one umbrella and guiding our path forward with clarity and purpose. But the biggest highlight that touched us especially here at Delta Ventures, is the addition of Swee to our portfolio. We first met Swee at From Start-to-Table program in 2021, where we are sponsors, having the pleasure to get to know them better With the dynamic founding team, Tiago Rebelo and Diogo Valente from Swee at the stage, Rui Miguel Nabeiro proudly asked them to re-create their pitch. Their passion for reinventing the ice cream experience resonated with us, especially in an industry where indulgence meets emotion. By offering a healthier alternative, Swee is not just changing recipes; they’re reshaping traditions and paving the way for a more mindful approach to dessert. Also featured in the event was a co-branding activity with Yogan - Plant Based Creamery the winner of Delta Ventures’ Disruption 22/23 program. Yogan that offers a plant-based alternative to dairy products, aligns with our commitment to sustainability and innovation. They have now developed with Delta an Oat based milk exclusively for the HORECA channel. Tired of not having truly healthy vegan alternatives to dairy products, Martinha Costa and @José C. the founders of the brand, started out by crafting and testing recipes in her kitchen using locally sourced almonds.
