Heart on Main Street is raising money to help retailers impacted by recent storms throughout the US. In the last two weeks, deadly tornados have affected entire communities and destroyed locally-owned businesses in Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa and Texas. This year alone, already hundreds of locally-owned independent retail stores have become victims of natural disasters. These unexpected disasters have affected retailers in every part of the country. While businesses are insured, there is often a gap between the cost of recovery and what they are paid out. This leaves retailers on the hook for thousands of dollars if they want to re-open their store and remain a part of the community. Independent retailers are huge drivers of the local economy and helping these retailers recover brings hope back to these affected communities. They bring a sense of normalcy to areas that have lost so much. We would love to help as many retailers and communities as possible, so, if you are able, please consider making a donation to Heart on Main Street, and help these communities recover. https://lnkd.in/gtdW9Tef
Did you know? Even a small donation can make a big difference in the lives of those impacted by the tornadoes. Here at Heart on Main Street, we believe in the power of community. Join us in supporting the recovery efforts in Oklahoma and Nebraska. Together, we can show the strength and compassion of our retail community. Donate now: https://lnkd.in/g7-tixGe

Recent numbers show we are 3,000 boxes short of meeting CRM’s collection goal. Please help! Pitching in is simple: 1. Shop for items based on the list provided by CRM including a new small-size moving box (email CRM to get details) 2. Box items 3. Deliver to CRM on collection day! You don’t even have to get out of your vehicle. Volunteers help unload. With collection day and Thanksgiving fast approaching, please share with friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, church community, etc. to spread the word. Take it a step further: organize a collection drive in your neighborhood, business, or church to make a bigger impact! #GiveBack #Charlotte
Help us spread holiday cheer! Donate a frozen turkey and a box of food to provide a full Thanksgiving meal to Charlotte families in need. Drop off your donations on Friday, November 22 from 9am-4pm or Saturday, November 23 from 9am-2pm at 624 McNinch St., Charlotte, NC 28202. Strike Out T1D with Us This Weekend! Get ready to roll with purpose! This Sunday, November 10th, Leyton and I are hitting the lanes at Victory Bowl in Mankato for the fourth annual Strike Out T1D event. We’re excited to be bowling to raise funds for Camp Sweetlife, an incredible nonprofit camp that supports kids with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) in living full, empowered lives. Why Camp Sweetlife? Camp Sweetlife isn’t just a camp—it’s a life-changing experience. It’s a place where kids with T1D get to be kids, enjoying all the classic camp adventures, surrounded by counselors and medical staff who truly understand what they're going through. Our goal is to eventually make this camp free for any T1D kid, ensuring no child misses out on this experience due to financial reasons. Here’s How You Can Help! You can support our team in a few ways: Pledge Per Strike: Donate per strike our team throws (like $0.50 per strike). Example: $0.50 x 50 strikes = $25. Pledge with a Cap: Donate per strike but with a max amount, like $0.50 per strike up to a $20 donation. Flat Donation: Keep it easy and give a set amount for the event! To contribute, you can donate directly to Camp Sweetlife here https://lnkd.in/gVmM3fZU or Venmo me, and I’ll make sure it reaches them. or, like and share this post to make sure it reaches as many people as possible. Together, let’s show kids with T1D that nothing can hold them back!

As we approach Thanksgiving, let’s remember the importance of sharing our blessings with those in need. The holiday season is a time for gratitude and generosity, and many families in our community are facing food insecurity. This year, consider supporting the Client Choice Food Pantry at Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri. Our pantry allows clients to select food that meets their needs and preferences, ensuring that they receive nutritious meals for their families. How You Can Help: Donate non-perishable food items: Canned goods, pasta, rice, and other staples are always needed. Consider a financial contribution: Your donation helps us purchase fresh produce and other essential items for families in need. Volunteer your time: Join us in serving our community by helping at the pantry. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that every family has a warm meal to enjoy this Thanksgiving. Let’s come together in gratitude and generosity! #Thanksgiving #GiveBack #ClientChoiceFoodPantry #CatholicCharities #EndHunger #CommunitySupport #GratitudeInAction

We Have An Urgent Need For Our Angel Food Assistance Fund - Please Donate One of our most important programs is our Angel Food Assistance Fund. This fund provides immediate assistance for families struggling with food insecurity. We currently have 13 applications with emergency food needs, but our Angel Food Assistance Fund is running low. We need to raise $2,000 today in order to meet the critical needs of these 13 families and their children to ensure they don't go to bed hungry tonight. Donate today, and a child eats tonight. Will you please make a donation of $25 or more tonight to help us reach our goal? If just 1% of the people who see this message today make a tax-deductible donation, it will make a huge difference in this lives of these families.
