According to Splitit’s latest report, featured in WWD, Gen Z is prioritizing pay-later options for personal purchases (42%), entertainment (35%), and dining out (25%) this holiday season. Nearly half (47%) of Gen Z shoppers say the availability of installment plans influences where they shop, and 65% decide to use these plans before checkout. Nandan Sheth, CEO of Splitit, said, “Gen Z has stretched their finances this year, making price sensitivity a key factor. This holiday season, they’re prioritizing spending and relying on pay-later options for personal splurges.
