Success in sport is absolutely crucial as it drives increased participation, investment, overall growth and development. Increasing India’s sport participation is at the core of Spolto’s vision. We are so happy and proud to see that India has done tremendously well in the Paralympics in Paris. Last time in Tokyo, India was able to get 19 medals—five golds, eight silvers, and six bronzes. In the games this year that end on 8th Sept 2024, India has already been able to get 24 medals, which included three golds, seven silvers, and 10 bronzes. Thus already suppressing their own previous record of 19 medals. We not only want to support and recognize the Indian Olympic Association for their work, but also some of the stars/winners of the current games including, but not limited to Sharad Kumar, Mariyappan Thangavelu, Deepthi, and Sundar Singh Gurjar.
