Florentino Perez Proves: Real Support Isn’t Just Words—It’s Action! Florentino Perez made headlines by choosing not to attend the Ballon d’Or celebrations when Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior was overlooked for the award. This gesture goes beyond words—it’s a reminder that true support is shown through actions, not just words. In both sports and everyday life, saying “I’m here for you” often falls short. Actions—like standing up for colleagues, backing friends publicly, or showing up when it matters—speak volumes. Think of a manager who supports their team under pressure or a friend who shows up in tough times. This commitment builds trust, loyalty, and respect. As Perez has shown, it’s about showing people they’re valued by actively standing by them. When words are backed by meaningful action, it empowers and uplifts those around you. Let’s remember that real support is demonstrated, not just declared.

This partnership aims to promote a sustainable future. Cepsa’s logo will debut on the sleeves of the men’s first team home jerseys starting from the Coppa Italia and Serie A season, followed by appearances on the away and third official kits. The value of this partnership will be highlighted through corporate hospitality and promotional advertising facilities during matches at the Ferraris Stadium. We share a vision for the future and developmental projects for the ecosystem. Barcelona proofs with the F1 Fan Festival its commitment to renew its partnership beyond 2026. Probably influenced by the recent announcement Madrid will host the Formula 1 starting in 2026 for the next ten years, generating a total economic impact of up to €5,000M (read full post: https://lnkd.in/dRBGt3S2), this week, the city of Barcelona is hosting a fan festival in its most iconic landmarks. This includes a "Fan Festival", where motor enthusiasts can engage with the racing world, a "Fan Forum" with a series of conferences, including a panel with CEO Stefano Domenicali and pilots and the highlight, an exhibition round that took place last afternoon in Passeig de Gracia with 40,000 fans watching it live. One must consider the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has succesfully organized the race for the last 33 years and sees with the announcement of Madrid, combined with the interest of emerging economies to equally become host cities, its position threated. The current contract expires in 2026 and is being negotiated. In 2022, the Catalan Government paid a fee of €26M, which Madrid has increased to €48M every season, meaning Barcelona will need to raise its investment if they want to keep their partnership. Definetly these events not only help to drive engagement on Formula 1 enthusiasts, but also project the city of Barcelona internationally as a world tourist destination and host city of big live events. #LiveEvents #Formula1 #Tourism #Barcelona

WOULD YOU SPLIT A MILLION DOLLARS WITH A STRANGER? I know somebody who actually won a million dollars from the ‘BE A CHANGI MILLIONAIRE’ competition-lucky draw. For those who don’t know, this is a very clever annual campaign run by the Changi Airport Group since 2010 to stimulate retail spending in the airport. To participate in the Millionaire Draw, passengers and visitors needed to shop or dine at Changi Airport, with a minimum spend of S$30 in a single receipt, for a chance at being picked as a finalist. The person I met was a Singaporean who was picked as one of 7 finalists, and on the day of the grand draw, had to be on stage to compete in a series of activities in front of a live audience at the airport. After three elimination rounds of activities that mostly required luck, this Singaporean had to compete with a Caucasian dude from the UK in an activity in which they each had to pick a picture of half a boarding pass. Whoever picked a picture that matched with an existing other half on stage, would be declared winner of SGD$1,000,000. This was an activity of PURE CHANCE. As he shared this story with me, he reminded me at this point that, - He was one of 7 finalists picked for the finals from over 2,000,000 entries into the competition => GOOD LUCK - He had just survived 3 rounds of activities that mostly required… GOOD LUCK - He now has a chance to win $1,000,000, if he picked the right picture, which is dependent on… GOOD LUCK. So they each made their choices, and now awaits the reveal of the result on stage in front of the massive live audience, the event host riling the atmosphere thick with excitement and anticipation… He turned to the English dude… “Hey, would you like to split the prize no matter which of us wins?” WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE CHOSEN?
