✴ 📢 The Integrisport 3.0 project is once again in motion, now turning its attention towards Romania for its upcoming awareness-raising practical session. This event will be the first occasion for so many participants in the area of sports manipulation to meet and discuss their views and insights. It represents an ongoing effort to strengthen integrity in sports and address the challenges facing the sports and e-sports community today. Expected outcomes:  1. Strengthening law enforcement and judiciary involvement: the project aims to engage law enforcement and judiciaries to bolster integrity in sports, fostering a collaborative environment to combat sport manipulation and related crimes.  2. Heightened awareness and education: through targeted activities, the session seeks to amplify awareness surrounding the significance of integrity in sport.  3. Similarly, any change in the timing of the tournament, which comes up from time to time concerning the so-called disruption of European leagues, has to be a determination by CAF. Not some European clubs and journalists holding on to a warped understanding of the continent. Having said that, the economic argument raised earlier is indeed crucial, as it means we must also be considerate of the clubs who pay the salaries of the African contingent that leaves mid-season to represent their countries. For those interested, below is my article in the latest issue of the Think tank Sport et Citoyenneté Journal, providing an overview of the efforts of the International Partnership against Corruption in Sport (IPACS), an initiative jointly established in 2017 by governments, sports organisations and intergovernmental organisations, to develop pragmatic solutions and support all stakeholders in tackling corruption and promoting good governance in sport.
