I call this period the terchial socialisation. This is where 99% of our personality is created. This is where bonds are made and broken. I'm talking about the transition from a civilian to a potential superior being. Superior beings represent that 1%, by my count. We also know them as Olympians and Hall of Fame title holders. The INFINITY program is a long term goal to achieve perfection. and the word perfection in particular and has a deeper meaning. It represents and merges with the word INFINITY. Some say that perfection is never absolute, or more commonly said, you will never be perfect. But what defines perfect? Who is the all knowing google like person that can say: “ yes this is perfect!” So in this case, how I see it, it can only be better. In this way we evolve and if we realize that, we evolve 2x fast. But in that moment, when you think you or someone is perfect, in a nanosecond, you create the first defense mechanism of ego. Your brain thinks, that it means, that the potential of the person has reached its fullest potential and you, he or she, can not learn anything else and now one can teach you , him or her anything new or worthy of trying to understand the received information.

The underestimated role of talc in recreational sports. For many, talc is a little-known hero in the world of recreational sports. However, this versatile mineral plays a crucial role in many of our favourite sports! In sports such as gymnastics, climbing and weightlifting, talc is used as a kind of 'secret weapon'. It improves grip and prevents sweat from affecting performance by keeping hands dry. Talc is also used in sports such as bowling and baseball to optimise the grip of balls and bats. Interestingly, talc is also used in winter sports. Skiers and snowboarders use talc to keep their equipment dry and efficient. Researchers found that tennis players had the biggest gains in life expectancy over sedentary individuals, adding 9.7 years to their lives. Badminton players came in second, with an average gain of 6.2 years. Followed by soccer (4.7 years), cycling (3.7 years), swimming (3.4 years), jogging (3.2 years) and low-intensity calisthenics (3.1 years). Today, more than ever, they want the autonomy to choose how they operate—whether it’s selecting their insurance providers or deciding on their business structure. Improving feel for the water might be difficult to do, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done. One of my favorite strategies is using different hand postures at the same time. Let’s take a look at how to help your swimmers learn to use their hands more effectively while swimming butterfly. By swimming with one tennis ball, or one closed fist, swimmers are going to be feeling different sensation at the same time. It’s going to challenge them to manage those differences and still perform. In this case, they’re going to have to be consistent with their stroke count during the freestyle work and get better at creating speed with the butterfly. It’s an effective way to help them learn to get more out of each stroke, all while swimming full stroke and developing fitness.

Did you know that female gymnasts get a deduction if their bra straps peak out of their leotards during a routine? Imagine worrying about THAT while you’re trying to compete! In fact, a 2021 Sport New Zealand study revealed many teenaged girls were quitting sports because they felt uncomfortable in their uniforms. That’s why it’s so encouraging to learn that Gymnastics NZ recently updated its rules to allow gymnasts to wear shorts over leotards.
