Today's 🌍Earth Day🌍 is dedicated to environmental protection and sustainability – just like we do. At Röchling Industrial, we are aware of our responsibility towards the environment and society and strive for a sustainable plastics world. Sustainability is one of our most important strategic areas for the future and is constantly being driven forward by the Röchling Board Sustainability, which was set up specifically for this purpose. Franz Lübbers, CEO of Röchling Industrial and responsible for the Röchling Board Sustainability, says: "It is particularly important to us to minimize the ecological footprint left by us as a plastics processing company. To this end, we look at both our products and our production processes. Our plastics contribute to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, for example in rail vehicle construction, thanks to their wide range of applications and low weight. On the other hand, we are constantly striving to use our resources even more efficiently and thus reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. This is why we have already equipped many of our sites with photovoltaic systems, for example." And this is just one part of our comprehensive strategy to preserve our planet for future generations.
