Great article. I’m seeing this consistently across my conversations. Often times, point solutions were over-implemented in 2020 for a specific need and not integrated or scaled appropriately. Key survey takeaways: - 86% of health executives say that digital health solutions have the potential to reduce costs - 70% said they haven’t seen a return on investment so far. - 50% of healthcare organizations say that “siloed tracking metrics” make it hard to follow tech’s initial cost value. The solutions are here though. Often times, especially in this economy, there are tools already existing that can yield 80% of the desired outcome. They may not have everything you want, but does it offer the core of what you need? Overlay this with a properly integrated platform across the enterprise accelerated by the right POC environments and scaled approach and the ROI can be there when properly measured.

No finance gymnastics = ROI for digitally enabled medical care. Return comes only if care is made measurably and rigorously better— from the perspective of the human being needing care and the clinician. No finance gymnastics— just results. #MedPearl 2024
Interesting study conducted by EY shows that while 86% of health executives say that digital health solutions have the potential to reduce costs, 70% said they haven’t seen a return on investment so far. https://lnkd.in/gZ5MpCbE
