One question we are often asked (which we are very grateful for btw), is how can i get involved?  Well, there are 3 ways you can get involved with us and our work: 1) MAD Sponsors – We are asking local businesses to donate a small affordable monthly amount to Lets MAD, and 100% of this money will go towards making up the shortfall between UC (Universal Credit) and the private rental market. 2) MAD Investors – Individuals and companies with small amounts to invest, starting at £5000, can invest in a property and commit to different periods of time, depending on their needs, whether that be 12 months, 5 years, 10 years or longer. 3) MAD Fans – People or organisations can participate in fundraisers, and any funds received will go towards a deposit on a property. Thank you to everyone who supported my fundraising campaign for the Bridge to Brisbane today! What an incredible event! Feeling a little stiff and sore - but it was totally worth it to raise money for a great cause. My reflection: - The end goal seems like a long way when your at the start line. - Celebrate every milestone along the way. - If you need to slow down it’s ok, have a breather and get back into it. - Don’t give up! - Share the wins with your loved ones. - Do it for a purpose. - Have FUN! - Set micro goals to achieve a bigger goal. - Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing, run your own race. - It will all be worth it when you finish and look back. - Think about how you can improve next time.
