I would add in what concepts, formulations act as predominant framings4authentic healing-signs of a country's sense of allegiances; proudly invoked as transcendental? For example, when Gabor moves the dial from 'hungry ghosts' as impaled psychological sovereignty, in later work, Gabor seems2possess a more extensive social idea in Myth of Normal. This may bring up issues in clinical research, around false positives in ACEs-where victim accounts are minimised/avoided, even dismissed as retrospective first personal; creating credibility deficits in unreliable victim impact? How does Gabor deal with the nested multivariate petri dish of heritage impacts; how dominant collective intentionality comprehends/interacts with accounts of trauma? In some regional accounts of victim impacts, the social fields seem2induce an elision4the seriousness of victim impacts-coercive control/violence and abuse? And/or, we walk around in a disaffiliated state of being, even extending2feelings/thoughts that almost feel apologetic4burdensome existence-people pleasing frames as our normal; easily spooked/shamed/guilt tripped etc? Perhaps even encouraged2extremes of feeling/thought obligation-as a self-abnegation, disavowal-offering it up within a learned habituation in 'the lie of the land?' Perhaps the myth of normal inclines those harmed2disbelieve/deny what has happened; 'what harmful experience(s) were like&what things are like today.' How do healing narratives incline us to side with collective will formation, that actually converts us into a mindset of forgiving abusers? Do transcendence theorists overly subscribe2a collective wish fulfilment-ends up distorting public reason itself on crimes; how do inured/desensitised operational metics/ dominant practices as avoidance, while crimes against children/women/others are treated with leniency; an effective strategy to systematically marginalise victims of crimes? In recognition that those who have experienced multiple adversities, are statistically more likely to develop later co-morbid medical conditions? Why do countries move painfully slowly to recognise what was overt since the 1960s and before; a multiple residue of legacy harms-people wrongly portrayed; dished/stigmatised&betrayal by the political and social contract of obligations; harmed beyond words, who subsequently struggle to even articulate the exact nature of crimes of the time&in the now? This involves institutional forms of life, who can be guilty of kicking problems into the long grass, banking on compassion fatigue4victims? Or suggesting that victims seeing everything through a forest of trauma and encouraging clinics not2be solicited by sympathy for 'suffer-mongering opportunists; who see everything from a prism of additive as addictive2injury as identity? Do institutions actively create suspicion/doubt4victims that run contrary to countries idealised/poeticised self image of itself? Viewing different forms of comprehension with suspicion?

🎙️ I’ve had a lot of conversations about teams & team dynamics lately. The importance of understanding communication styles, working & collaboration styles, learning preferences, and much more. Without having insight into the preferences and styles of your colleagues, managers, and leaders, we can lose a lot of context and be quick to misinterpret the intent of an email, IM, or tone on a call. It takes time to learn the specifics of each person you interact and work with. And, while we’ve all probably taken one of the the Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, or Insights Discovery tests, we’re not exactly promoting it on our LinkedIn or corporate profiles. Rather than asking “Why not?”, I think I’ve found one that’s more entertaining that we can all get a good laugh at while also learning a little bit about our friends, family, and coworkers. And, if you’re feeling so bold, screenshot and paste it below. I can guarantee that someone will appreciate it (or, at minimum, brighten someone’s day). 🔗 LINK: https://lnkd.in/g-FcgpzK

We’re proud of the team we have here at Spire. If you’ve never been to our offices or met everyone, we’d love to help you get to know them better. Here are Five Fast Facts about Stephen Knowlton, our Director of Innovation: Spire Origin Story: I came here on Valentine’s Day in 2012 because I’m passionate about simplifying complex problems to find a path forward, and I saw a huge opportunity at Spire to do that for our team, our clients, and our community. Item in Your Office that Makes You Go "Awww": Custom Lego hot tub, enjoyed by Lego versions of my wife and me. Favorite Thing about Working at Spire: The moments that I see things “click” for others, where we’ve finally solved it, or know how to get there. Hidden (or not-so-hidden) Superpower: I hear that I ask great questions. I like helping others flip on their lightbulb switch, and enjoy thinking about things from fresh/novel perspectives. Favorite Spire Memory: Spire team creating our 2022 United Way Pacesetter video (and recording that chaos): https://buff.ly/479wKhC
