“We need to radically rethink the tooling and infrastructure that are required to support embodied AI testing workflows.” - and that's what we're doing at ReSim.ai! Have a look at Simon's post about testing embodied AI:
How to make AI capable 𝘢𝘯𝘥 reliable? I'm sure you've all seen some of the hilarious goofs ChatGPT makes. Funny stuff, but it highlights that testing any sort of ML or AI powered entity is both imperative, and also miles behind. It's funny when it's a hapless lawyer making up cases and getting found out. It would be less funny if it was a robot of some sort that injured someone. We need to focus on reliability and predictability more so now than features. "If embodied AI is going to seamlessly integrate into our world and improve our lives, we need a better approach to testing that looks very different from Software 1.0's unit testing."

"Like repeated battles between a virus and antibodies, technologies evolve and the technologies we use to test them, must race to catch up." As the world moves into a mode of AI being a system of systems, traditional testing methods for AI fall flat. At ReSim.ai, we're building the infrastructure to bring AI testing up to date with the current needs of the AI ecosystem. Check out the first blog post in our Testing AI series!

I appreciate the compliment of being invited to discuss the need for Agentforce in a context of data coherence and connection. Our data from (for example) the annual MuleSoft Connectivity Benchmark Report [https://lnkd.in/gUtt2ueQ] suggest that a typical company needs to achieve a usable and trustworthy fusion of nearly a thousand different digital aspects of its resources, processes, and relationships to enable its operations and serve its customers. Given that reality, even companies that are making maximal and effective use of Salesforce "True to the Core" commitments and achievements [https://lnkd.in/gc5ySc3X] will continue to benefit from whatever we can add with Data Cloud's harmonization [https://lnkd.in/gswuKtSp] of their many data sources and effectors, and from what we can help them activate—in a trustworthy way, because Trust Layer [https://lnkd.in/gD_dH6vg] matters—with Agentforce.
A powerplant is not a vehicle; likewise, a Large Language Model is not a transformative AI capability, and a "copilot" does not turn a Model T into a Le Mans-winning GT3. Patrick Stokes at Salesforce clarifies: ====== Copilots add a thin AI veneer to existing applications rather than addressing the broader opportunity of creating autonomous, enterprise-wide AI capabilities. Enterprises need a truly integrated system of data, AI, and action—not just a helpful interface but a transformative engine that can autonomously execute tasks and drive business change. The copilot approach encourages enterprises to add LLMs superficially, focusing only at the UI layer. The result? A shiny distraction that might convince leadership you are innovating, but leaves the real work and transformation undone.
