It is with deep sadness that we mourn the tragic passing of our dear friend and colleague Simone White. Simone was a talented colleague with a bright future ahead of her and someone who epitomised our firm values. Our thoughts go out to all of Simone’s family, friends, and those colleagues and clients who had the privilege to work with and know Simone. She will be sincerely missed.
Thoroughly heartbreaking for this family and all the others caught up in this tragedy. My condolences to any one touched by this. As a travel insurer I have seen way too many of these incidents over the last 30 years. I hear the media advice in hindsight but methanol is so hard to spot - it’s not a traveller beware issue. This senseless, murderous behaviour needs to be stamped out by an international law enforcement initiative.
A life lost no matter the circumstances, is always heartbreaking Prayers and thoughts for those whom she leaves behind, in your memories she does live on
May her memory be a blessing.
We were lucky to have Simone work with us at Clear Channel, first as our inhouse Compliance paralegal and then once she qualified at Squires, on crucial deals with us up until her untimely passing. We were all so devastated to hear this tragic news. Simone was a thoughtful, kind, diligent, adept and genuine young woman, a talented lawyer with a warm heart, humility, humour and a bright future. She will be sorely missed by all her colleagues and friends at Clear Channel, thought of often and with fondness and grief. Our sincerest condolences and thoughts to her family at this unimaginable time.
My daughter was there at the same time so I can’t imagine the pain that this family and friends are experiencing. Thinking of those she has left behind.
So sad. Someone taken too soon. My thoughts are with her family, friends and colleagues who are all going through hell right now.
I did not know Simone, nonetheless an absolute tragedy. As the father of a son of 21 who travelled around SE Asia in 2023, including Laos and a daughter who at 18 is heading that way next year I offer my heartfelt condolences.
May she rest in peace- deepest condolences to all those that had the privilege of knowing her.
