The time to give thanks should be every day, not just on Thanksgiving. How can you harness the power of gratitude? Try a gratitude journal -- take 5 minutes each day to reflect on what it is that you're grateful for. I am grateful I got to know you Jacqueline Asiimwe. I am sure meeting you wasn't coincidental, it was meant to happen. That walk, oh yes! I’m looking forward to much more. I hope to meet with you again soon. To everyone reading this, a data-driven life begins just like that. What she did was simply collect, store, retrieve, reflect, and finally archive. This is the same approach your company or even you should adopt. The day-to-day activities and operations are data points. We need to gather them and utilize them to make daily decisions. Yes, we need to store them in a safe repository to ease retrieval. At the end of the quarter or year, we need to reflect, utilizing this data to assess what went right or wrong, as well as evaluate the KPIs (reflection). Like she did, just get a box to empty for the next one. What she went through was a great learning point. The motivation and satisfaction will keep her going—even for the next round. But we still need the previous data. We may reflect upon it in the future, or it can serve as a basis for comparison. So don’t throw it away, just archive it. This is a simple application that your team may need to master. To a data-driven 2025!
We have so much to be grateful for. May we learn to give thanks.
