I've done this at two companies now, and it's been a massive success.
At your all-company/all-hands/state of the company/etc....
Schedule 15-30 minutes into the agenda and give this prompt:
"How has someone on this team encouraged you or made you better? Where do you see growth in them?
Call them out by name, be specific about what you saw, and how that affected you."
And then just sit back and listen.
