📢 StandardAero is honored to announce its selection by the Brazilian Air Force (Força Aérea Brasileira - FAB) to provide MRO services for the Pratt & Whitney Canada #PT6A-68C engines powering the FAB’s fleet of Embraer A-29A and A-29B Super Tucano aircraft. The FAB is the world’s largest operator of the PT6A-68C turboprop engine, utilizing the A-29 for a variety of roles including training, air interception and surveillance missions. StandardAero will support the PT6A-68C from its PT6A Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) in Summerside, PEI, whose capabilities include a dedicated “high-G” test cell capable of emulating the G-forces encountered by PT6A-68 engines in highly maneuverable platforms such as the Super Tucano.
