Standards Australia’s Post

🌏 We recently welcomed a delegation from the Institute of Quality of Timor-Leste. This visit was part of our Standardisation Uplift initiative, which aims to enhance Timor's standards development capabilities, economic competitiveness, safety, and resilience.   During their visit, the delegation participated in standards development meetings and engaged with various teams at Standards Australia. These interactions were designed to support their professional growth and enable them to set standards in key areas such as agriculture, climate resilience, tourism services, and the built environment. They also connected with key players in Australia’s standards and conformance ecosystem, including National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia, National Measurement Institute, Australia, and Intertek SAI Global.   We look forward to continuing this support with training and stakeholder engagement activities in Dili in 2025.
