🤔🤔Divorce in exchange for a tool!! Bulya Ritah Martha shared this post 2 days ago and It reminds me of my own experience growing up. My dad was an incredibly hardworking man with several businesses. But as he focused on work, we, as his family, became a distant priority. My mum sacrificed her career to raise us, and over time, we connected more with her while dad missed out on memories that mattered. As he got older, that disconnection weighed heavily on him—he was successful in his career but lonely in his personal life. I’ve seen firsthand how professionals who pour themselves into their work often reach retirement with no real connection to their families. The anger outburst and quest for divorce in the video is as a result of piled emotions of feeling second to work, or not even thought of. - A hard reality. This is why it’s crucial to find balance, before it’s too late. 💔It starts with prioritizing the people in your life. Just as we dedicate time to work meetings and deadlines, we need to carve out intentional time for our loved ones. Whether it's scheduling date nights with your spouse or setting aside quality time with your kids, those moments matter more than we realize. 💔Another key is communication. In the video, the wife’s anger didn’t come out of nowhere. It built up over time, possibly from years of unspoken frustration. Open, honest communication can prevent this. Share your pressures, your stresses, and allow your partner to do the same. This helps foster understanding and strengthens your bond. 💔Lastly, setting boundaries with work is critical. In a world where we're always connected, it’s easy to let work spill into every aspect of life. But creating boundaries—whether that’s turning off your phone during family time or refusing to bring work home on weekends—makes a world of difference. When you’re fully present at home, the people you love feel valued and important. As a growth coach and marriage counselor, I’ve seen too many professionals end up in the same place: successful in their careers but struggling with broken relationships. If this resonates with you, I’m offering a coaching session where we’ll explore how to balance your career and relationships in a way that ensures both thrive. Let’s work on creating that harmony now, before the stress and neglect become overwhelming and we are asked for divorce while chairing a meeting in the boardroom. 🙏🙏 When we take care of our relationships, our mental health improves, our stress decreases, and we perform better at work. I’ve seen it over and over again—professionals who prioritize family come to work with more energy, clarity, and focus. They bring their best selves to both their careers and their personal lives. Don’t wait for a breakdown to make a change. The time to start is now. I would love to hear your comments in the chat🙌 #dianamuhairwe #growthcoach #leadershipdevelopment #thrivingmarriages #worklifebalance

Great perspective to start out the week… avoid the “red flags” and add more “green flags” to not only your personal life (which I believe this was originally intended), but to your work life. #makeithappenmonday #greenflags #positivevibes #motivation #worklife
