"If it's not tech, it's not a startup" - Myth or Not? Should you pursue an idea that doesn't revolve around tech? Coming from a non-tech background, I've faced this dilemma myself. While many are building tech-driven startups, what about ideas that don't have tech at their core? It's important to understand that while technology plays a significant role in the growth and success of many startups, a business doesn't need to have tech at its core to be considered a startup. In recent years, we've seen a surge in product-based companies making it big, such as Mamaearth, Beardo, Bummer etc. However, one thing no startup can escape is the need for tech as an enabler. The success of the brands mentioned above lies in their effective use of technology to aid growth. In today's world, you cannot be rigid and unaccepting of new technologies. You shouldn't force yourself to build something just because it's trendy, like AI, LLM, or blockchain. Instead, learn how to harness these technologies to streamline and grow your business. Technology can be a powerful enabler, but it’s not the only path to startup success. Focus on solving real problems and adding value, and use technology to enhance your journey. Comment your views down below. Stay tuned for more insights and follow for weekly updates! #startup #startupindia #entrepreneurship #technology #myths
