What's your unique market insight when your sales team is pitching? If you don't have one, your #salespitch is likely just "check out all my cool features," which turns into your prospect thinking 🤔 (if not outright saying), "so you're pretty much like everyone else!" April Dunford (as always!) gives some great examples on this pod 👇 why your pitch needs to lead with how you view the market and how what you do differently - and for whom - is so important. ➡ If your prospect doesn't agree 🙅♂️ w/the need and value you're offering up front, great. Let them self-select themselves out. Highly unlikely you're winning that deal. ➡ But if the prospect does agree 👍 w/your market insight, they'll value your differentiation, and agree why the 'others' are not right for them. Make sure you're leading with your unique take on what's important for what type of use cases or companies when considering your type of solution. If not, you're stuck in a feature mosh pit w/no differentiated value to your prospect. And that's a tough game to win.
