Today I’m doing something out of my comfort zone. A day of networking. I easily move into coach mode, almost too easily and I don’t notice. When we work out of comfort zone growth happens, and it gets easier. I know it’s good for me, even if it does feel a bit icky initially. So, today my plan is to talk business, make connections, listen to others, learn from others and be me. #Connection #Networking #SmallBusiness #ComfortZone #Growth

𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀: 𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 Networking doesn't have to feel like a chore or drain your energy. In my latest video, I share key strategies to help introverts approach networking on their terms: 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 "𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴": It’s not just about collecting contacts; it is an opportunity to build meaningful connections that resonate with you. 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Are you networking because it aligns with your goals, or is it just something on your to-do list? Whether understanding the industry better or meeting specific people, being clear about why you’re networking makes a huge difference. 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗦.𝗠.𝗔.𝗥.𝗧 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀: Fun and achievable goals turn networking into something meaningful for introverts rather than just a transactional task. This makes it more enjoyable and purposeful. 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲: Protect your energy and recharge as needed. Take breaks, step back, and reflect – it’s not a race! Networking can be tough, especially when shyness kicks in. But reaching out to others, even when it feels uncomfortable, can have a profound impact on your personal and professional growth. Here are some quick tips to help: - Embrace the Awkwardness: It's normal to feel shy or awkward. Push through it, and others will likely appreciate your effort. - Start Small: Begin with approachable topics or shared interests to ease the tension. - Be Genuine: Authenticity resonates. Show genuine interest in others. - Learn from Each Interaction: Not every attempt will succeed, but each one is a learning experience. - Respect Boundaries: Understand and respect personal boundaries. Stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to new opportunities and relationships. Remember, everyone feels shy sometimes; it's part of growing and connecting. #Networking #ProfessionalGrowth #OvercomingShyness #BuildingConnections #Authenticity Hope this hits the spot!

𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 Networking is a skill I can never stop working on and advocating for its importance. In my entire life, I have come across very few people who have made networking a priority and make regular, ongoing efforts to connect with others. For these individuals, networking has become a part of their identity—they like to stay connected with people. And yes, these few people also have a ton on their plate, so that is not an excuse. We do meet a few people occasionally for coffee or drinks, but there is so much more this skill has to offer us. I have decided to put in the effort to get better at this skill and tap into endless opportunities for knowledge sharing, market insights, friendship and social support and so much more. What are you waiting for? #womenpower #livinglife #happinessquotes #Transformationcoach #skilldevelopmentt #growthmindset #happiness #life #womenempoweringwomen #professionalgrowth #worklife #meaningful #positivethinking #supportnetwork #motivationalspeaker #inspirational #careerdevelopment #lifeCoach #performance
