Data center operations teams are the backbone that keeps systems running smoothly, minimizing downtime that can disrupt businesses, online services, and critical infrastructure. So just how important is investing in strong data center operations training? According to the Uptime Institute, human error is estimated to play a role in up to 67-80% of all outages, with several outages last year costing firms more than $150 million. At Aligned Data Centers, operational excellence is at the core of what we do. Achieving that starts with hiring the right professionals with strong technical aptitudes and a passion for customer service. Hiring our own operations teams means we can directly supervise and train them in all aspects of data center maintenance and management, across all our facilities: - Each member of our Operations Management Team has 10-15 years of data center experience, with an additional 5-7 years of critical environment experience for Critical Facilities Technicians. - Our in-house training program allows us to hone the skills of veterans from all service branches, electrical and mechanical tradespeople, and equipment-specific technicians. But it doesn't stop there. In addition to our own data center operations teams, we have AMMO, or the Aligned Maintenance, Management, and Operations audit, a centralized technical arm of operations that conducts recurring internal audits. These are done by a team of subject matter experts in security, technical, operational, and QA/QC. Their findings highlight areas for continuous improvement in operations, processes, maintenance practices, and training to ensure 100% uptime. AMMO is administered not only to drive significant improvements to daily critical operations, but also to enhance the customer experience. It's what drives our data center operations to exceed service level agreements (SLAs) with zero SLA violations. Investing in data center operations training is crucial, and Aligned is answering that call. Learn more about AMMO and our approach to operational excellence here: https://lnkd.in/gzJdN_kC

Data Center Disaster Recovery Plan Checklist: Safeguarding Operational Continuity Data Centers play an essential role in the modern business environment, acting as the backbone for many organizations. They are responsible for hosting critical applications, protecting sensitive information, and facilitating uninterrupted daily operations. Any disruption in the operation of a Data Center can lead to significant downtime, financial repercussions, and damage to an organization's reputation. A comprehensive IT disaster recovery plan should encompass several key components, including risk assessment, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), developing recovery strategies, and ongoing testing and maintenance. The primary objectives of such a plan are to minimize downtime, mitigate data loss, ensure business continuity, safeguard data and assets, and comply with regulatory standards. Virtualization enhances disaster recovery capabilities within a Data Center by enabling quicker recovery times through the swift relocation of virtual machines to alternative physical servers. It also offers improved flexibility by facilitating the creation of redundant systems, thereby increasing resilience during disasters. Additionally, virtualization can lower costs by allowing multiple virtual machines to operate on a single server and simplify management through easier testing and maintenance of these virtual environments. #DataCenter #DisasterRecovery #BusinessContinuity #ITStrategy #Virtualization #RiskAssessment #DataProtection #OperationalContinuity #BIA #RecoveryPlan Contact- sunil.m@sureworks.in / 7972112257
