10 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁, 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴. On November 15, 2024, a fire broke out in the NICU of Jhansi Medical College, caused by a short circuit and exploding oxygen cylinders. The tragedy exposed shocking systemic failures: lack of fire safety measures, poorly maintained infrastructure, and unprepared medical staff. Amid the chaos, heroic locals and staff risked their lives to save as many infants as possible, but sadly, ten lives couldn’t be saved. How Life Events Shape Your Passions:; When I was born my mother had measles so I was breastfeed by her elder sister. (wet nursing). She was a teacher and died on both teachers day tomorrow and her sisters birthday 5.10. Iv always integrated a health promotion activity in her honour. My son was born at term on World prematurity day. I initiated and hosted the first day 2015 in the facility I worked at that time and still commemorate. To answer FAQ: 1. Why do you do what you do even when, you are no longer in health. I just got the paper to be in the system and I use every model to fuel what I was born to do. #TeachersDayLoading

November is Prematurity Awareness Month, and World Prematurity Day is recognized on November 17. The purpose of these recognition days is to raise awareness of the impact of premature birth on babies, families, and the health of mothers and infants. Prematurity is the leading cause of infant death in Franklin County. Through June 2024, 11.9% of babies in Franklin County were born premature, before 37 weeks gestation. CelebrateOne, central Ohio’s collective impact initiative to reduce infant mortality and improve health equity, has set a goal to reduce premature births to 5.5% by 2030.
