Morning routines. Yes, yes, I know! Everyone goes on about morning routines and the value they bring into our lives. But the reason everyone goes on about it, is because it really is a THING! My morning routine: Make my bed Bathroom Exercise Get showered, dressed and ready for the day. That’s it. Short, sweet and simple. I don’t have to think about it. It’s just routine and habit now. And there’s the trick! Choose a morning routine that you can do daily without thinking about it. The way you start your day sets the tone for the rest of the day. I believe that. Just as athletes rely on their pre-game rituals, a solid morning routine sets the tone for a successful day in business. For me, it starts by the fire pit 🔥, with a cup of coffee ☕ and the Wall Street Journal 📰. It’s my playbook for the day ahead. Is the wrong morning routine destroying your momentum? 😶 Talking about morning routines… I don’t believe in spending 2 hours doing 10-step morning routines. And I don’t believe in directly jumping to work. In the past few years, I have tried all kinds of morning routines. These are the only 2 things that have been highly effective for me. And my guess is they would work for you too… based on my experience of personally working with 200+ 1-on-1 paid coaching clients. These 2 things create the MORNING MAGIC for me: 1.) Visualization (5-10) mins: I sit in a relaxed position. Close my eyes. I always start with gratitude for what I have. And then I visualize the reality I want to create… How it would feel… The obstacles I might face… And I imagine overcoming those obstacles easily. I can go into the details of my visualization practice. Let me know if you would like that by just commenting below 👇 2.) Work on money-making tasks for 2 hours with no disturbance. Do the things that will move your business forward. In my case, I’m writing my daily emails. Or creating trainings/VSLs. But at different stages of your biz, you gotta do different things. Since I have built a small team now, things are much easier for me. What I’m NOT doing in these 2 hours: 1.) Planning my day (these 2 hours are for action only) 1.) Watching YouTube for inspiration 2.) Reading a book instead of writing 3.) Preparing for today’s meetings 4.) Scheduling client meetings 5.) Checking my emails and responding to them 6.) Thinking of my website accent color 😅 7.) Worrying about the future problems that I don’t currently have I think you got the idea. Those are the only 2 things that have been highly effective for me over the years. Give it a try if this resonates with you. That’s it for today. Have an intentional weekend ahead. Take care!

We’ve all been there - staring at a blank screen, or avoiding that dreaded task, promising ourselves to “do it later.” But let's break free from this cycle together! 💪 One effective strategy is the 𝗣𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲. This involves working in focused 25-minute bursts, followed by a short break. It's amazing how much you can accomplish when you eliminate distractions. 🤯 Another powerful tactic is to 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀. That mammoth project can feel less intimidating when divided into smaller, more manageable steps. It’s like eating an elephant one bite at a time! 🐘 Creating a 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 can also work wonders. A clutter-free environment can significantly boost focus and productivity. Remember, it's okay to take breaks. Stepping away from your work can refresh your mind and increase your efficiency when you return. 🧘♀️ And most importantly, practice 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Confession time! I used to be a master procrastinator. I'd put off tasks until the last minute, and then wonder why I was so stressed out. But then I realized that I had the power to change my habits. I started using a planner to stay organized, and broke down large tasks into smaller, manageable chunks. I also learned to say no to non-essential commitments, and made time for activities that brought me joy and relaxation. It wasn't easy, but slowly, I started to feel more in control of my time and energy. I was getting more done, and feeling less stressed. Now, I'm not perfect, but I've learned to be kind to myself when I slip up.
