Another reason to love where AI is heading. I was able to create this song for my daughter (who loves to play piano) with nothing but a prompt. The new advances in AI have enabled me to start work on a dream project of mine that leverages this awesome technology to improve data specific processes. This is where AI is today and by the end of the decade it will literally be a million times better. AI is already smarter than 95% of the population. Most people can’t write text, answer questions, solve problems, write computer code, play chess, create music, or paint pictures as well as AI. We are already comparing AI to the top 1% of humanity which outperforms most people on the planet in a single area while AI can do it in all areas.

This is not the beginning... we have already taken Step 4.

Here are some hypotheses I’m working on: “Glittering turds” are a multimodal AI phenomenon where humans experience a mismatch in the evaluation of AI output. Glittering turds have 2 major causes: 1. the aesthetic maturation effect, which occurs over time as we develop perceptual expertise (this is why DALLE2 no longer looks good) and 2. The fleeting fascination syndrome, which is when the initial excitement for the fluency of AI output is diminished by the recognition of its actual shittiness/valuelessness. (Also known as the mirage of mastery) Basis for this is I’m thinking that the Suno songs im loving now will be really hard to listen to in 6 months. Rabbit R1 - The first Personal AI Agent Device LAM = Mindblowing or scam? I got intrigued by Rabbit R1 and Rabbit OS, let me tell you why? I started understanding machine learning models and LLM (Large Language Models), but I was kind of missing something when speaking to Siri, Alexa or any chat robot with or without speech. Now with LAM (Large Action Model). Defined as: “What is a large action model (LAM)?
