The high drinkability of the 2012 vintage in both red and white Burgundies is hitting my favorite "double bubble" territory. Generic wines are approaching an ideal level of maturity, though village wines could benefit from another 2-4 years of cellaring—depending on your personal preference. Premier and Grand Cru wines are approachable and incredibly tasty. There's no crime in enjoying them now, but they will benefit from further development. If you have patience, an additional 4-5 years (for Premier Cru) and 5+ years (for Grand Cru) will be ideal. #2012 #ChambertinClosdeBeze #GrandCru from @domaine_brunoclair will surprise you if you dare to order it. Bright ruby with no sign of age and lifted, invigorating aromas of dry earth, wet coal minerals, and pure red cherries, raspberries, citrus blossom, and wildflowers. The palate is delicate and fine, with crisp, mineral acidity creating superb depth and length, leaving a beautiful mix of red fruit and mineral residue. Great now, and even better with another 5-10 years of cellaring. 96+ So why not 99/99 or my favorite 99+? The depth is there, but the breadth feels slightly lighter compared to the benchmark Beze from Rousseau. At a quarter of Rousseau Beze's price, it's worth every penny, and you won't be disappointed. But that's Burgundy for you—benchmark producers are beyond expensive. A memorable bottle, enjoyed in the best company @finchammark , at the "must visit" @maisonducolombier. #InstaWine #WineStagram #WineLover #WineLovers #Drink #Vino #WineOClock #Drinks #WineTime #WinesOfInstagram #WineLife #Restaurant #WineTasting #Cheers #Winery #Dinner #RedWine #WineGeek #Wine #France #Red #WineNight #Landscape #Nature #WineCountry #Wines #Vineyard

**Wine Full Name:** Clos des Mouches Beaune Premier Cru 2018 by Domaine du Pavillon, Albert Bichot **Region Name:** Burgundy **Sub-region Name:** Beaune, Côte de Beaune **Wine Making Style Info:** The wine is produced using traditional Burgundy methods with meticulous attention to detail. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo careful sorting to ensure only the best fruit is used. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled tanks to preserve the wine's aromatic profile. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, with a portion being new oak, imparting subtle complexity and enhancing its structure. **Age Info:** This specific wine has been aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, about 20% of which are new. This aging process imparts a delicate balance of oak influence and preserves the wine's vibrant fruit characteristics. **Wine Tasting Notes:** The Clos des Mouches Beaune Premier Cru 2018 offers a harmonious blend of bright red fruit aromas, including cherries and raspberries, along with subtle hints of vanilla and spice from the oak aging. On the palate, it is elegant, with a silky texture and well-integrated tannins, leading to a long, refined finish with mineral undertones.

🍷OLD VINTAGE EXPERIMENT. Worth it? Oh, boy, yes, and what a gem!☝️ I had to fight with the cork this time, as it was broken on so many levels and made the impression, that I would have an unsuccessful attempt again. But in the end, I was rewarded!🍾 My very first Turkish 🇹🇷 wine and already such a gem! Kayra Vintage Collectible Series No.6 Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 comes from a little vineyard in Urla near Izmir. The vineyard has an almost 10-degree cooler microclimate than the surrounding countryside and sits on a limestone shelf. 🌄 The winemakers would like to reflect this unique place in the wine by picking the grapes over 5 to 7 days paying attention to select the ones without developing over-ripe flavours. 🍇They don't want to bottle Napa or Bordeaux but to express the vineyard site to the best of the vintage. Hence the 16 months barrel aging but only 15% new French oak and the rest neutral casks. A 2008 vintage still develops beautifully in the bottle, let me show you.⬇️ A medium deep ruby color with medium plus viscosity on the edge of the glass. 🍷The nose has lots of ripe cherries, plums, and cassis backed up with black pepper, tobacco, coffee, smoky vanilla, and dark chocolate. It has a surprisingly youthful nose. ☝️This youthful character is still going on on the palate with the same aromas from the nose, which makes it a very harmonious wine. Well-integrated, ripe tannin structure, medium alcohol (13%) with good acidity, and a medium plus length filled with those cherry flavors. 👉 A very good quality, obviously ready to drink now, but it still has left a couple of years in the bottle. Have it on 16-18°C next to a BBQ ideally if you want to impress your guests with a lovely Turkish wine. And why not? 🤔 I was definitely impressed and I am looking forward to further discovering wines from this ancient land. How about you?🤗 #winetime #winetastingnotes #winelove #winestudy #winewriter #winedestinations #winemarketing #digitalamarketing #wine #redwine

**Wine Full Name:** Chablis Premier Cru Montmains 2021 by Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin **Region Name:** Burgundy, France **Sub-region Name:** Chablis (Yonne) **Wine Making Style Info:** This Chablis Premier Cru is crafted using traditional Burgundian methods. The grapes are hand-harvested, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks to maintain the wine's pristine purity and freshness. The wine undergoes partial malolactic fermentation, which adds a creamy texture without compromising its natural acidity. **Age Info:** The Chablis Premier Cru Montmains is aged for about 12 months. The ageing process often employs a combination of stainless steel tanks and neutral oak barrels, which allows the wine to develop complexity while retaining its vibrant character. **Wine Tasting Notes:** The wine opens with aromas of citrus fruits, green apple, and a hint of flinty minerality. On the palate, it is marked by crisp acidity and flavors of lemon zest, pear, and subtle notes of white flowers. The finish is long, with a saline minerality that is characteristic of Chablis.
