Today, Protect Animal Health Inc., a Taiwan company focused on developing advanced therapies for companion animals, announced a licensing partnership with Rejuvenate Bio, a gene therapy startup co-founded by George Church, a pioneer in synthetic biology from Harvard University. Under this agreement, Protect Animal Health will obtain exclusive rights to develop, distribute, and market Rejuvenate Bio's gene therapy for canine heart failure in the Asia-Pacific region. Protect Animal Health plans to launch exploratory preclinical trials for pets in Taiwan by the end of 2024.
