This team has been a faithful partner to Havenwood for a long time. They've supported our mission financially, as well as generously given of their skills, expertise, and time. They are true partners, generous in every sense of the word and we deeply appreciate their corporate culture. We can learn some great lessons from corporations like Kendal King. 1. Communicate - knowing your charitable priorities for next year helps nonprofits be better stewards. Even if the news is disappointing to your nonprofit, the communication is a gift in itself. 2. Mutual advocacy- Helping your partner tell their story helps the partnership. Charities should have a basic understanding of your business and companies should understand the charities mission. 3. Transparency - The charity has the responsibility of being a partner the members of your company can be proud to support. We partner by celebrating the wins and sharing the disappointments. Thank you Kendal King for being a huge part of empowering single mothers and their children to move from crisis to self-sufficiency. We are grateful.

The logistics are mindboggling, but I will always want to land a helicopter in a stadium. 🚁 You could have the helicopter be wrapped and branded for a specific sponsor. The helicopter could unload free product, swag, or other gifts. Or you could have the helicopter drop off a team, top competitor, or another figure like that. Imagine if your team's ring/hall of honor recipient arrived in a helicopter. Or maybe after the team wins a big game, the helicopter immediately comes in to swoop them up and take them on some fabulous prize trip. The event is June 6-8, but let's break that schedule down ⬇️ It's officially a three-day event, but check out the breakdown of what each day looks like commitment-wise. Thursday, June 6 - Trivia Competition at Naked River Brewing Co. from 5-8 PM - You'll only need to send 5 people to represent the company, although you're welcome to bring more to cheerlead/support/have some drinks Friday, June 7 - Bowling Competition at Spare Time from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM - You'll send 5-10 people to represent the company on the bowling team. You can pick a time from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM to stop by, whatever your team prefers. Saturday, June 8 - The Field Day Event at Finley Stadium and First Horizon Pavilion - Officially 7:30 AM - 4 PM - This is the day you want the entire company to come out. It's way more fun if you have everyone come out and stay/tailgate all day, but if you have employees who need to pop in and out, they are welcome to. Corporate Challenge is flexible so people can still participate even if they can't stay all day. It's also family-friendly - families are more than welcome to come out and support, although they cannot physically participate in the challenges.
