Here's my🥇run from the challenge course at obstacle ninja academy yesterday. Thankfully you get 2 mulligans in this competition so that helped 😂 It's obviously a lot different than being on the ANW show. Having no falls and millions of people watching is a different kinda pressure, but there's still pressure even at this event for sure. In the speed course on the day before I actually heel tapped on the 3rd obstacle and got dead last. I was bummed out, but that's just how it goes. I have to remind myself that life is full of good days and bad days. As long as I continue to show up and put in the work, eventually good things will happen. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. But if I step back and think on ten year timelines instead of 1 month or even 1 year timelines, it helps me realize that so much of what I think is a big deal actually doesn't matter. That's how I stay motivated. I started doing ninja 5 years ago. I started investing in real estate 14 years ago! It felt like I had a lot more bad days than good days during that time, but I didn't give up on either of those things. Now when I look back, I realize that it's the consistent effort that compounds over time, one day at time. If I can learn to separate myself from the outcome and instead focus on the work, not only do I become happier but I actually get better results.
