So lovely people, are you ready for 6 weeks of endless political point scoring and party propaganda! Just 2 things to say. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE! - It's really simple and costs nothing, just follow the instructions on the Government website - https://lnkd.in/dpHCBTz PLEASE VOTE! - Even if you just turn up and spoil your ballot by writing a rude word across it, if you don't head to the polling station and register a vote you have no right to say you aren't represented. Preferably make your vote count and actually vote for someone. If you don't like your existing MP, then check who you could vote for to affect change, by checking your postcode on https://tactical.vote/

Voting is crucial, but knowing who you’re voting for is just as crucial for a functioning democracy. Everyone talks about the big-ticket races at the top of the ballot, while issues and decisions at the bottom receive far less attention. Yet, those local and state choices shape our communities in significant ways. Using a non-partisan voter guide, like BallotReady, equips you to fulfill your civic duty as an informed and engaged, electorate. By providing well-researched insights on every candidate and issue, you can vote confidently and knowledgeably across the entire ballot. But however you choose to prepare, just be sure to to vote! Remember: your vote matters at every level! Make it count.
